The Mothers & Daughters Tea Party is one of the highlights of the year. It is held at St. John The Baptist Elementary School. The Tea Party is elegantly decorated for the theme of each year’s recital. A fabulous buffet lunch including finger sandwiches, salads, fruit and vegetable plates, huge assortment of desserts and a wonderful flavored tea (punch) in a Silver Punch bowl.
Mothers & Daughters wear their Sunday Best. Each Mother & Daughter sit at reserved tables. They have the option to decorate themselves. They personalize them with pictures of their daughters dancing years.
We have a Fashion Show of the costumes in the upcoming recital. We Choose three groups to perform to preview our upcoming ballet.
